kyou was another sugoi day in nippon. first, i went to book-off to browse used manga as usual:
i didn't find any omoshiroi manga, the shelves were pretty picked clean, but i did buy yet another japanese cookbook and stumbled upon a totemo rare nendoroid, though it was expensive that's actually a decent nedan for this one.
for dinner i got katsu curry at coco curry ichibanya, it was oishii but the presentation leaves something to be desired, plus it was quite takai.
then i went down to round 1 to play some otoge, mostly ddr and sdvx, they have that maimai DX now tooi don't care for maimai much but i forced myself to play a credit as a cynical attempt to meet girls, since i know it's popular with them. the worst part is that it almost instantly kind of worked, even before i started my first credit a random girl materialized and asked if she could play with me on the other side, but she was there with her mom....
i got pretty hungry from all that dancing, so afterwards i stopped for a late-night snack...

indeed, 'tis the season once again, and despite saying last year that i am DONE doing christmas lights, it's not so easy these days to find a decent-paying job on a dime when you've got urgent credit card payments to make...
business is better than ever and we're short-staffed as always, i've barely had a day off in weeks and 10-12 hour days keep sneaking in, at the very least all my experience has made things go quicker and easier than they used to, and i have already paid off all the credit card debt from certain recent extended excursions that might generously be called "adventures". anyways, we now return to our regularly-scheduled programming, the continued serialization of the critically-acknowledged japan posts...
